Dump and jack control from one Dual Double power unit
Dual Double describes the power unit’s two double-acting hydraulic functions. One circuit supplies powered raising and lowering for a compatible dump cylinder. The other supplies powered extension and retraction for the jack pair through the included flow divider.
The four-button pendant provides a pair of commands for each function. The two jack legs share the jack circuit; the pendant does not provide separate left-leg and right-leg controls.
Identify the pendant commands, actual movement directions and hydraulic connections during installation before operating under load. This package supplies the power unit and jack system; it does not establish the lifting capacity of your dump body.
A separate 3 HP hydraulic power unit
The included Primary Mover unit uses a 12V motor rated at 2.2 kW, approximately 3 horsepower. Mount it in a suitable dry, weather-protected location with access for installation and service.
Motor power, delivered flow at working pressure, cylinder dimensions, valve configuration and electrical supply all affect operating speed. Jack-circuit flow is shared between two legs, so do not assume the same travel speed as a single-jack system.

What the hydraulic flow divider does
The included flow divider distributes incoming oil between the two jack branches to help coordinate cylinder movement. Its listed operating range is 1–5 GPM.
Flow distribution does not establish equal pressure, equal supported load or perfect matching of leg height. Actual movement depends on operating flow, divider accuracy, cylinder condition, plumbing and loads.
This is not an automatic leveling system. Monitor both legs and the trailer, provide suitable footing and follow the installation and operating instructions.
Dual counterbalance valves on each jack
Each jack has dual counterbalance valves for load-control functions on both cylinder sides. They help resist unintended retraction while supporting the trailer and unintended extension when the legs are retracted for travel.
During lowering, the trailer’s weight can try to drive cylinder movement faster than the pump supplies oil. Counterbalance valves control outgoing oil to help manage that load-driven movement. Their function is separate from the flow divider’s job of distributing flow.
The jack valves control the jack cylinders. The dump circuit requires the load-control arrangement appropriate for its own cylinder or hoist.

Premium construction on both jack legs
- Painted 4-inch-square steel outer tubes.
- Stainless steel caps for corrosion-resistant top components.
- Galvanized inner sleeves to protect the exposed moving sections.
- Hot-dip galvanized feet for corrosion protection at the ground-contact components.
- Rigid hydraulic piping on the cylinders; external hookup hoses are included.
- Grade 8 hardware for applicable mounting connections.
What the dual-jack dump-and-jack combo includes
- Two 12,000 lb hydraulic trailer jack assemblies, each with a 20-inch stroke, dual counterbalance valves and your selected bolt-on or weld-on configuration
- One Primary Mover 12V Dual Double hydraulic power unit with a 3 HP / 2.2 kW motor
- One 15-foot, four-button wired pendant for dump and jack control
- One hydraulic flow divider with a listed 1–5 GPM operating range
- Six 48-inch hydraulic hoses with straight JIC-6 connections
- One JIC-6 tee fitting
- Two 90-degree SAE-6-to-JIC-6 adapter fittings
- Nine straight SAE-6 male to JIC-6 male adapter fittings
- Two 4-gauge battery cables

Match both jack legs to the load and mounting structure
The 24K designation is the sum of two individual 12,000 lb jack ratings. It does not guarantee a 24,000 lb lifting capacity for every installation. Neither leg may exceed its own rating.
Trailer geometry, load position, footing and mounting arrangement determine how much load each leg carries. Do not assume each jack supports half the load. The jack rating also does not establish dump-body lifting capacity or increase trailer GVWR and other component ratings.
Compare mounting dimensions, complete retracted and extended heights, coupling height and stowed clearance with your trailer. Bolt-on installations require a compatible pattern and suitable structural support. Weld-on installations require appropriate support and welding for the intended load.
Compatible bolt-on transition plates may provide additional mounting options. These adapters are sold separately.
Choose the correct hydraulic package
This Dual Double kit is intended for a compatible double-acting dump system and double-acting jack circuit. Check the dump cylinder, working pressure, flow, reservoir capacity and connections before choosing the installation.
If your dump cylinder uses a conventional single-acting, power-up/gravity-down circuit, contact us to configure the appropriate power unit and dual-jack system. If you plan to retain an existing single-acting power unit, the X-Block guide explains the directional-control principle; a two-leg setup also needs suitable plumbing and flow distribution.
To retain an existing compatible double-acting power unit, compare our 24K Dual-Jack Add-On Kit . Use the Jack Kit Selector to compare packages.
Dual-jack dump-and-jack combo questions
Does this kit include a power unit and remote?
Yes. It includes one Primary Mover 12V Dual Double power unit with a 3 HP / 2.2 kW motor and a 15-foot, four-button wired pendant. A Group 31 battery tray is included; the battery is separate.
What does Dual Double mean with two jack legs?
The power unit has two double-acting circuits. One serves the dump system; the other serves the two jack legs through a flow divider. The pendant controls dump and jack functions, rather than each leg independently.
Are the legs individually rated for 24,000 lb?
No. Each leg is rated for 12,000 lb. The 24K package designation is the sum of their individual ratings, subject to load distribution and complete installation limits.
Does the flow divider automatically level the trailer?
No. It distributes hydraulic flow to help coordinate the legs. It does not guarantee equal leg height, equal supported loads or automatic leveling.
Do both jack legs have dual counterbalance valves?
Yes. Each jack has dual counterbalance valves for load-control functions on both cylinder sides. Read the counterbalance guide .
Does this package include a dump cylinder or hoist?
No. It supplies the two jack assemblies, Dual Double power unit and listed components. The dump cylinder or hoist, dump-body hardware and any additional dump-circuit plumbing are separate.
