One power unit for your double-acting dump bed and 12K hydraulic jack
The Primary Mover 12K Single Hydraulic Trailer Jack Kit with Dual Double Power Unit combines one 12,000 lb jack leg with a 12V, 3 HP / 2.2 kW hydraulic power unit designed to control two double-acting circuits: a compatible dump system and the hydraulic jack.
The included 15-foot, four-button wired pendant provides separate commands for dump raising/lowering and jack extension/retraction. Choose bolt-on or weld-on mounting. The jack has a 20-inch hydraulic stroke, dual counterbalance valves and the premium construction described below.
Dual Double power unit, four-button pendant and Group 31 battery tray included. Battery not included. The trailer’s dump cylinder and dump-body hardware are separate.

What Dual Double means
Dual Double describes two double-acting hydraulic functions. One circuit supplies powered movement in both directions for the dump cylinder; the other supplies powered extension and retraction for the jack. The power unit provides four hydraulic work ports for those two circuits.
This package contains one jack leg. The Dual Double designation refers to the power-unit circuit arrangement. It lets a compatible trailer use one power unit and one pendant for dump and jack control.
Use the pendant’s designated buttons for the function you intend to operate. Identify the actual movement directions during installation and verify hose routing and controls before operating under load.
A 3 HP power unit matched to the complete installation
The included Primary Mover power unit uses a 12V motor rated at 2.2 kW, approximately 3 horsepower. Install it in a suitable dry, weather-protected location with access for service and appropriate electrical connections.
Motor power, pump flow at working pressure, cylinder dimensions, battery condition and cable installation all affect performance. The jack’s 12,000 lb lifting rating applies to the jack; it does not establish the lifting capacity of your dump body.

Dual counterbalance valves hold and control the jack
The jack uses dual counterbalance valves to provide load-control functions on both cylinder sides. They help resist unintended retraction while supporting the trailer and unintended extension when the leg is retracted for travel.
During lowering, the trailer’s weight can try to drive cylinder movement faster than the pump supplies oil. Counterbalance valves control outgoing oil to help manage that load-driven movement. Actual operating behavior depends on the complete circuit, valve settings and load.
The jack’s valves control its cylinder. The dump circuit must have the load-control arrangement appropriate for its own hoist or cylinder.

Choose the correct dump-and-jack circuit
This Dual Double package is intended for a compatible double-acting dump system and double-acting jack. Check the dump cylinder, pressure requirements, working flow, reservoir capacity and connections before choosing the power unit.

Mounting, lifting reach and clearance
Compare the jack’s mounting pattern, complete retracted and extended dimensions, above-frame projection and stowed ground clearance with your trailer. Its 20-inch hydraulic stroke is one part of that fit check.
Bolt-on installations require a compatible mounting pattern and suitable structural support. Weld-on installations require appropriate support and welding for the intended load. A compatible bolt-on transition plate may provide another mounting option; adapters are sold separately.
The jack and power unit do not increase trailer GVWR, frame capacity or other component ratings. Account for the actual load at the jack and evaluate dump-body lifting capacity separately.

Does Dual Double mean this package includes two jack legs?
No. It includes one 12K jack leg. Dual Double describes the power unit’s two double-acting hydraulic circuits for dump and jack operation.

Do I need an X-Block with the included power unit?
No. The included Dual Double unit provides the two double-acting circuits. An X-Block is an alternative for adding a double-acting jack to a compatible existing single-acting power unit.
Does the kit include a dump cylinder?
No. It includes the jack and the listed power-unit and hookup components. The dump cylinder, dump-body hardware and any additional dump-circuit plumbing are separate.
